In terms of challenges, the Program will face the thorny issue of inadequate resources to finance needs from the council development plans. In response to this challenge, led by the Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development, the National Coordinator of PNDP, Marie Madeleine Nga is currently exploring the trail of alternative funds non generating of debt, including funds mobilized from the diaspora and from the public-private partnership. In this regard, a number of initiatives are ongoing and their outcome will expand the range of contributors to this program, consisting so far of the State of Cameroon, the French Cooperation through the C2D ( 1), the World Bank, the German Financial Cooperation (KFW Fund) and the Global Environment Fund (GEF).
