The Ambassador of France mentions PNDP among the priorities of the second C2D from the hearing granted by the Head of State, his Excellency Mr. Paul Biya, the Ambassador of France, Mr. Bruno Gain, is confident the press quoted the PNDP as a priority among the lead projects be carried out through the second C2D (contract debt development) the main instrument of the bilateral debt to the France. During his talk with the press, the head of the French diplomacy in Cameroon focused on the benefits expected from the second C2D program, for which a contribution of 58 million Euros will be allocated to the PNDP; that is an amount of 37 billion F CFA. These resources will be used in the financing of classical activities of the PNDP II, but with an extension on the consideration of agricultural activities in synergy with rural C2D existing projects as well as the implementation of a project to support the creation of communal and community radios in Cameroon. According to the Ambassador of France, the implementation of the second C2D program is one of the great challenges of Cameroon in the coming years. Among those, Bruno Gain referred to the modernization of agriculture, which is a major focus of the C2D. In total, it will be make every effort to ensure the increased production and the improvement of competitiveness, and the mobilization of resources for the financing and the recovery of the economy.
